Dehradun to Sankri (Drive)

  • Stay

Early morning pickup from Dehradun Railway Station. A scenic 7-8 hour drive passing through Mussoorie and Kempty Falls. Drive along the Tons River and enter the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrival at Sankri village; check-in to the homestay. Briefing about the trek and overnight stay in Sankri.

Sankri to Juda-ka-Talab

  • Dinner

Post breakfast, start the trek from Sankri towards Juda-ka-Talab. Trek through dense oak and pine forests with snow patches. Reach the serene frozen lake campsite situated at 9,100 feet. Evening activities and hot dinner at the campsite.

Juda-ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base

Resume the trek towards the base camp through beautiful snow-covered trails. Witness stunning views of Swargarohini and Bandarpoonch peaks. Reach the Kedarkantha Base Camp (10,600 feet) by afternoon. Early dinner to prepare for the midnight summit climb.

Summit & Descend to Hargaon

Start the summit push at 3:00 AM to catch the sunrise. Reach the Kedarkantha Peak (12,500 feet) for a 360-degree Himalayan view. Celebrate the summit and start descending towards Hargaon. Camp overnight amidst the meadows of Hargaon.

Sankri to Dehradun (Drive)

  • Breakfast

A short trek down to Sankri village from Hargaon. Enjoy your final breakfast in the mountains. Board the vehicle for the return drive to Dehradun. Trip ends with memories of the great Himalayan summit.

How does booking work?

Reserve a seat free for 24 hours, then hold it by paying 5% of the trip price + 5% GST on this site. That amount counts toward your trip, not on top of it. The rest of your 20% advance is collected closer to the date, and the balance at departure.
