Kashmirgroup trips.

shikaras, meadows, and the only place in India that looks like this

Kashmir is the trip people put off and then wish they had taken sooner. Srinagar and the shikaras on Dal Lake, the gondola at Gulmarg going up to 4,000m, the meadows at Pahalgam and Sonmarg, and chinar trees that turn the whole valley red in late October.

Jaane se pehle.

Kab jaana hai

April and May for tulips and blossom, June to August for the meadows, and December to February for snow in Gulmarg. Autumn, late October, is the quietest and, for a lot of people, the best.

Pahunchna kaise hai

Two ways in: fly to Srinagar, which has direct flights from Delhi, or ride the overnight Volvo semi-sleeper from Delhi, which is how our Kashmir batches travel and why they cost what they do. The bus is long, so the itinerary builds in the rest.

Log kya galat samajhte hain

A houseboat night on Dal Lake is worth doing once and is not the same as a hotel: they are old, wooden and often unheated. Ask which you are getting rather than assuming.

Aur sawaal.

How much does a Kashmir trip cost?

Our Kashmir trips start at ₹5,000 per person on quad sharing, from Delhi. Each trip page lists what the fare includes, what it doesn't, and the extras you may pay for.

Can I book a Kashmir trip on my own?

Yes. You book a seat on a group trip, not a private tour, and share a room or tent at the sharing you pick: quad, triple or double. Ask us on WhatsApp about rooming before you book.
