Hampta Pass crosses from the forests above Manali into Lahaul, and the change on the far side is sudden: pine and meadow give way to bare rock and snow in an afternoon. Four days, three camps and one high pass make it the classic first proper Himalayan crossing.

Kab jaana hai

Mid-June to September. The pass is under snow outside that window, and early-season batches may still cross snowfields near the top.

Pahunchna kaise hai

The trek starts and ends in Manali; our batch boards there, so reach Manali on your own (overnight bus from Delhi).

Log kya galat samajhte hain

The pass is at 4,270m. Walking days are long and there is a river crossing; you need to be reasonably fit and to have walked in the hills before.

Our Hampta Pass trips start at ₹5,000 per person on quad sharing, from Manali. Each trip page lists what the fare includes, what it doesn't, and the extras you may pay for.

Can I book a Hampta Pass trip on my own?

Yes. You book a seat on a group trip, not a private tour, and share a room or tent at the sharing you pick: quad, triple or double. Ask us on WhatsApp about rooming before you book.
