the four shrines, and the 16km walk to the highest of them
Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath sit at the sources of four Himalayan rivers, and the full circuit takes the better part of ten days. Kedarnath alone is the one most people do first, as a three-day trip from Haridwar; Do Dham adds Badrinath, and Char Dham is all four.

May to October, when the temples are open. They close for winter around Diwali and Bhai Dooj and reopen in late April or May, on dates the temple committee announces each year.
Haridwar is where every yatra starts: it has trains from across north India and is about five hours from Delhi by road. Our yatras board in Haridwar, so the fare covers the mountain roads and not the plains.
Kedarnath is a 16km walk each way from Gaurikund, climbing to 3,583m. Ponies, palkis and helicopter seats exist, cost extra and sell out; if you want one, say so when you book.
Our Kedarnath & Char Dham trips start at ₹5,000 per person on quad sharing, from Haridwar. Each trip page lists what the fare includes, what it doesn't, and the extras you may pay for.
Yes. You book a seat on a group trip, not a private tour, and share a room or tent at the sharing you pick: quad, triple or double. Ask us on WhatsApp about rooming before you book.
